Frequently asked questions

How is it calculated?

Minutes each time × number of times × working days, divided by 60, gives the hours per year. The hours × the hourly cost give the cost. For a weekly frequency, the number of weeks is the number of working days divided by 5.

Which hourly cost should I use?

The hourly wage of the person doing the task. If you know the employer costs, add them: that is what the hour really costs you.

What next?

If the result surprises you, it is often a task that can run on its own: re-keying, a follow-up, a reminder. We can talk about it for twenty minutes.
